What "restore revision" does is is adds another revision on top of all the previous ones. I'm glad to tell you you lost nothing. You probably don't care much about this two years later, but other people might find this useful :)

This is worded poorly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been trying to get this to work and it seems you can delegate your contacts out to 25 people, not delegate 25 of your contacts. And, you have to delegate your entire My Contacts list, not up to 25--it doesn't let you select a subset. I tried setting up a group and delegating only the group's e-mails, but it won't separate them from the rest of my contacts. Why would I send work colleagues my whole private contact List?

cant remove voice plug in from add/remove panel keeps saying that networks resource in unavailable, it is looking for googletalkpluginaccel.msi and it is missing, how can I reinstall it in order to remove using add/remove panel and follow steps you mention above? nobudy is answering.....what to do then?

this didn't work. I can't find the file. there is no file to uninstall for google talk. :( It's been 3 weeks of me trying to figure this out now!

I would love a way to actually have a time component associate with my tasks - i.e. a way to schedule my to-do list. Right, its just a list, but adding time to the tasks adds nice parameters and helps fill up a day. I'd suggest this as a modification if it hasn't been done.

Yes, but until I can compose an email and actually use those contacts through autocomplete, or for god's sake at least SEARCH those contacts this is kinda useless.

I am having trouble with uninstalling the plugin as a user i can see the plugin in control panel but cant remove it. I cant even find it if i try doing it as an admin. I have tried using a program uninstaller and that didn't even work.

Disagree. Definitely a need to find the oldest email in your search results and that option should NOT be grayed out. One example that immediately comes to mind is annual performance reviews. You may want to search for all messages sent during the period of performance (the last year in this case) then start with the oldest withing those results to recall noteworthy tasks and accomplishments. The person who originally asked the question no doubt also had a need to do this as well. Hence their question. So, no, not never and it should be an available feature.

Your description of "How to find the oldest mail" contains a snide, unnecessary closing which does nothing to promote GMAIL which I have used for many years now. The article also was not helpful. It tells us users to hover over a email number. I have never seen such! Now can you kindly post where that is?

Check the version of the installed Google Talk plugin. For me it is 1.9.2.0 .
I have downloaded the msi file from http://rghost.net/5046322. During change/uninstall process provide this msi name. It got uninstalled completely from my PC. installed latest version after that :-)
